Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road: One of the Most Important Roads for Transporting Pilgrims to the Grand Mosque


Riyadh: Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road, which connects Jeddah and Makkah, is one of the largest highway projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a crucial route in the region. It spans approximately 70 km and is one of the most important roads for serving pilgrims.

The road, featuring five lanes, has been designed to enhance the safety of the travelers with side barriers, ground signs, and directional signs. Notably, the road also includes a model of the Quran, making it a significant landmark.

Notably, Saudi Arabia is ranked first in the world in the connectivity index, ensuring pilgrims’ safe and efficient transportation to and from the Holy Sites.
