At a meeting of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board, the Minister of Health and Medical Education presented a report on the profiteers’ efforts to destabilise the medicine market.
The Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board convened a meeting on Wednesday night, chaired by Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi.
According to the report of the Ministry of Health, the profiteers are trying to destabilise the medicine market by publishing false news in order to secure their interests.
Referring to the need for continued calm and stability in the medicine market, the President called for a joint and timely effort by the relevant agencies to provide the currency needed for certain drugs, and decided that the Central Bank should provide the currency needed to supply the drug and its raw materials immediately.
