Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf in a congratulatory message to his Russian counterpart Vyacheslav Valodin on his reelection as the speaker of the Federal State Duma of the Russian Federation wrote that Tehran-Moscow cooperation will further strengthen regional peace and stability.
Qalibaf added in his message to Valodin: Keeping in mind the role of the parliaments in strengthening the friendly bilateral ties, and with emphasis on the strategic policies of the two countries, I hope during the period ahead by taking advantage of the potential capacities and capabilities, especially parliamentary cooperation, we will witness the ever broadening of relations between the two countries in political, economic and cultural fields.
“I strongly believe Tehran-Moscow cooperation will further strengthen regional peace and stability, and in that respect, the Islamic Parliament welcomes any initiative aimed at further deepening the bilateral interactions,” wrote Qalibaf.
He also wished for the evermore health and success of the Russian Duma speaker and the Duma representatives.
