Qatari Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad tackled on Monday with US President Joe Biden the latest developments in Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Qatari Amiri Diwan said Sheikh Tamim received a phone call from Biden, and the two leaders also delved into the unrest in the occupied Palestinian territories and efforts to secure an immediate and permanent ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The statement noted that the two also discussed the strategic relations between the two countries, ways to develop and strengthen them.
