Quake shakes vicinity of Hormuzgan

Tehran, IRNA – An earthquake measuring 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale shook the vicinity of Iran’s Hormuzgan province.

According to the Seismography Center of the Geophysics Institute of the University of Tehran, the quake occurred at the 10 km distance from Roudar city and at the depth of 18 kilometers.

The epicenter of the quake was recorded at the 55.37 degrees longitude and 27.38 degrees latitude.

There is still no report on possible damages or casualties of the quake.
