Makkah, The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque activated the “Maalem Al-Tawhid” initiative as part of the operational religious plan for the Hajj season of 1445 AH by organizing a scientific course at the Grand Mosque titled “Al-Tawhid in Hajj.”

The course featured the participation of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the President of the Council of Senior Scholars and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, along with the esteemed teachers of the Grand Mosque.

The president of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, stated that the two Holy Mosques play a leading role in promoting Tawhid (monotheism), calling to it, and establishing the methodology of the Salaf.

“Among the pillars of religious affairs, the presidency is enriching the pilgrims’ understanding and journey of Hajj by elucidating the deep connection between Tawhid and the pill
ars, obligations, traditions, sayings, and actions of Hajj, as it is the ultimate purpose of Hajj,” Sheikh Al-Sudais said.

He indicated that the scientific course for the current Hajj season at the Grand Mosque concluded today with the participation of the Grand Mufti, esteemed members of the Council of Senior Scholars, and teachers of the Grand Mosque.

He said it is part of the outcomes of the “Maalem Al-Tawhid” initiative prepared for the Hajj season of 1445 AH, which aimed to convey the religious message of the two Holy Mosques, enrich the pilgrims’ understanding of Tawhid, and link it to Hajj rituals.

This initiative ensures that the pilgrim performs their rites correctly, achieves a blessed Hajj, is rewarded for their efforts, and their sins are forgiven, Sheikh Al-Sudais noted.
