Tehran: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has emphasized that the teachings of the Shia Imams revolve around the principles of resistance and resilience, underlining their foundation in logic and reasoning. This statement was made by Ayatollah Khamenei during a mourning ceremony held in observance of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, who lived from approximately 702 to 765 and is recognized as the sixth Shia Imam.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted that the steadfastness exhibited by the people of Gaza and Lebanon is a reflection of their adherence to the path charted by the righteous Imams. This path, as reinforced by the teachings of the Imams, advocates for enduring resistance and the employment of logic in the face of adversity.
