Resistance Groups Have Upper Hand in Negotiations: Hamas

Gaza City: Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou emphasized that the initiative in negotiations currently rests with the Palestinian nation and the Axis of Resistance. In a statement to IRNA on Monday, al-Qanou highlighted that the occupiers have failed to achieve their objectives in the ongoing Gaza war.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, al-Qanou stated that neither has the Resistance been destroyed, nor have the prisoners of the enemy been released, nor have the Palestinians vacated their homeland. He underscored the necessity of negotiations, ceasefires, and adherence to the terms of agreements achieved by the warring sides as the only means to secure the release of prisoners.

Al-Qanou also addressed the threats issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump, describing them as elements of psychological warfare against the Palestinian nation. He asserted that such threats, alongside the blockade of the Gaza Strip, would ultimately be ineffective.
