Riyadh to Host International Conference to Mark 30th Anniversary of Saudi Program Entailing Separation of Conjoined Twins

Riyadh: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) will host an international conference in Riyadh on November 24-25, 2024, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to mark the 30th anniversary of the Saudi program entailing separating conjoined twins, a pioneering initiative attesting to the Kingdom’s medical excellence.

The conference will bring together representatives from ministries of national guard, defense, foreign affairs, health, education, and media, and of international humanitarian and health bodies, associations, and institutions. Families of twins successfully separated will also attend the event.

Experts are slated to discuss advancements in conjoined twin separation and related humanitarian efforts.

An exhibition will showcase the program’s achievements and the Kingdom’s leadership in humanitarian and medical fields.

This event aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes the development and advancement of the healthcar
e and humanitarian sectors.
