Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash in his Tuesday meeting with Russian president’s special envoy Igor Levitin reviewed the achieved progress in railway expansion cooperation and North South Corridor.
The two sides in their meeting also reached agreement on further expansion of railway transportation cooperation, specially in the North-South Corridor path.
Also present in the meeting, there were Deputy Roads and Rural Development Minister Shahriar Afandi-Zadeh and Islamic Republic of Iran Railway Managing Director Seyyed Miad Salehi.
Levitin also had meeting with the Iranian vice president and the governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) earlier on Tuesday evening.
