Rouhani inaugurates projects to equip 181 fleets of mining operations in southern Iran

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani inaugurated national projects to equip 181 mining fleets belonging to the Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company (MIDHCO) in Kerman Province on Thursday morning through a video conference.

Close to 40,000 billion tomans have been invested in the projects in Kerman Province in the south of the country.

During the 79th plan of the ‘Prudence and Hope for Surge in Production’ campaign, five national projects of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of the Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company (MIDHCO) came operational.

In the video conference inauguration ceremony of these national projects on Thursday, President Rouhani said that the inauguration of projects worth 40,000 billion tomans in one province shows the nation’s capability, and the government’s proper planning and efficiency.

Rouhani added that was the the 79th plan of the ‘Prudence and Hope for Surge in Production’ campaign, adding that the remaining plans will be inaugurated by the end of his administration.

He noted that inauguration of projects have a very important meaning for both friends and enemies; it sends the message to Iran’s friends that the great nation of Iran, with its talent, knowledge-based companies, banks and investments, stock exchanges, the presence of the people and the optimal use of all the country’s facilities and important technologies, is able to produce and jump in production in times of economic war.

Last week, Rouhani inaugurated six national projects throughout the country via video conferencing.
