Royal Saudi Air Forces Work Around Clock to Serve Pilgrims


Mina: The Commander of the Air Force Group participating in Hajj season, Brigadier General Pilot Sultan bin Mohammad bin Salih, has confirmed that the Royal Saudi Air Forces (RSAF) are working during the Hajj season within the comprehensive plan of the Ministry of Defense to support the efforts and plans of all security services and government agencies aimed at providing all facilities to serve pilgrims by securing the airspace above the holy sites around the clock.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said the air forces are harnessing their potential and capabilities alongside all sectors participating in this year’s Hajj season, in accordance with the royal directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince and with follow-up by the Minister of Defence.

He added that the Air Forces’ responsibility is to organize, manage, and monitor the airspace and supervise the air traffic in the holy sites for all aircraft participating in the Haj
j season from other sectors.
