The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has revealed the schedule for the upcoming 2024-2025 Saudi Women’s Premier League season.
In this third edition, 10 teams will compete: Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Shabab, Al Qadsiah, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, Eastern Flames, Al Ula, Al Taraji, and Al Amal. The league will consist of 18 matchdays in a double round-robin format, totaling 90 matches.
To heighten the competition and recognize outstanding performances, SAFF has increased the prize money for the second and third-place teams.
The champions will be awarded SAR2 million, the runners-up SAR1.5 million, and the third-placed team SAR1 million.
In the 2023-2024 season, Al Nassr clinched the title, securing 37 points with 12 wins, one draw, and a single defeat.
