Saudi Cultural Development Fund Participates in Investment Round Organized by Fashion Commission


The Saudi Cultural Development Fund (CFD) has participated in an investment round, organized by the Fashion Commission, coinciding with the conclusion of Fashion Week in the British capital, London.

The fund’s participation falls within its efforts to support the growth of the fashion sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the 16 cultural sectors, and create an effective communication environment between local and international stakeholders.

Opening the fund’s participation in the Fashion Week, CDF Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer Najla Al-Nomair highlighted in her speech the fund’s goals and services and the role of “cultural financing” in developing the fashion sector.

She also spoke about the significant opportunities in the fashion sector and emphasized the fund’s interest in investing in this promising sector.

The CDF participated in a panel discussion organized by Vogue Business titled, “Investment Opportunities in the Fashion Sector in the Kingdom and the Government Incenti
ves,” with the participation of the Ministry of Investment, the Fashion Commission, and the British Fashion Council.

CDF officials met with several participating investors and global companies as part of the fund’s efforts to attract and encourage investment. The forum showcased financial and developmental services, highlighting cultural financing and its role in the sustainable development of the sector.
