Saudi Education Minister Meets with Polish Minister of National Education


Warsaw, The Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, has met with the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Poland, Barbara Novak.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the educational and scientific fields between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Poland. The meeting also discussed the exchange of experiences in education in schools and universities, including special needs education, and the exchange of experiences between university students at various levels.

Al-Benyan reviewed with the Polish side the experience of education in the Kingdom, the alignment of its objectives with Vision 2030, and its relatedness to the labor market. He also discussed scientific research and attention to gifted students, noting the results achieved by Saudi students in the ISEF 2024 competition, which took place recently in the USA.

On the other hand, the Minister of Education met with a number of presidents and deans of Polish universities during the lunc
heon hosted by the ambassador at the headquarters of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Warsaw. He delivered a speech expressing his aspiration to enhance cooperation between Saudi and Polish universities and implement joint programs that serve the education and scientific research process in the two friendly countries.

The Saudi Ambassador also met with Saudi scholarship students in Poland at the headquarters of the Kingdom’s embassy, where he exchanged dialogue with them and listened to their questions and inquiries related to their studies in Polish universities during the scholarship stage.

Al-Benyan stressed the keenness of the wise leadership to pay attention to the Saudi students studying abroad and to help them overcome all the difficulties they face in order to succeed in their education.
