The Saudi junior handball team arrived in Tunisia yesterday to begin their third and final preparatory stage ahead of the 10th Asian Men’s Youth Handball Championship. This championship, which will serve as a qualifier for the 2025 World Championship in Slovenia, will be hosted in Amman, Jordan, from September 3 to 14, 2024.
The squad traveled to Tunisia after a successful training camp in Slovenia, during which they played six friendly matches against other participating teams.
The Saudi youth team is scheduled to play two friendly matches against their Tunisian counterparts before returning home and then traveling to Jordan to participate in the Asian Championship. The Asian Championship will feature 13 national teams divided into four groups.
