Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in GCC-Benelux Meeting


Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated yesterday in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Benelux Countries. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

The meeting focused on opportunities to improve cooperation between the GCC and Benelux countries in various areas, such as the possibility of increasing trade exchange and economic development between the two sides. Participants discussed recent regional and international developments, including the war in Gaza, and the efforts exerted towards them.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Ambassador Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, Director-General of the Foreign Minister’s Office Abdulr
ahman Aldawood, and Director of the GCC Department Anas Alwasedy.
