Makkah: Saudi Post (SPL) introduced the “Hajj Without Bag” service, aimed at enhancing the experience of domestic Hajj pilgrims and easing their logistical challenges.
SPL said it collaborates with the Coordination Council for Institutions and Companies Serving Domestic Pilgrims (Mutahed) to ensure the provision of necessary logistical facilities, including this service, to ensure the comfort and safety of pilgrims.
The service entails the seamless delivery of pilgrims’ luggage from the nearest SPL branch in their respective cities directly to the holy sites.
After the conclusion of the Hajj season, the service also offers the option of transferring pilgrims’ belongings from their residences in the holy sites to their homes, based on their national address.
Pilgrims can easily track their shipments using the SPL app or the SPL Online website.
Furthermore, SPL highlighted the Haramain Train Passenger service, which spares pilgrims the need to worry about securing and transporting their luggage throughout
their journey on the Haramain train during Hajj.
