The Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, met with Bahraini Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, during his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the outset of the meeting, the Speaker of the Bahraini Shura Council welcomed Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation. He praised Saudi Arabia’s active and strategic role in supporting stability and peace in the region. He also emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing Arab and Islamic issues, stating that Saudi Arabia is a key player in the region, continuously taking positive initiatives to support the security of Arab and regional countries.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh, in turn, commended the progress in Saudi-Bahraini relations at various levels. He noted the important role played by the two councils in supporting and strengthening these relations across all fields.
The meeting included a discussion of cooperation between the two councils and ways to enhance it. The tw
o sides underscored the crucial importance of activating the parliamentary friendship committees and emphasized the urgency of this action. In addition, they discussed several issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying the Speaker of the Shura Council.
