Saudi Social Development Bank Concludes Participation in G20YEA Summit in Brazil


Goiania, Brazil, The Saudi Social Development Bank (SDB) has concluded its participation in the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Association Summit, which was held from June 12 to 16 in the Brazilian cities of GoiSnia and Florianópolis, and which was attended by entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world.

The bank delegation was part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the summit during which it organized a pavilion showcasing its initiatives and financing programs to support and empower small and emerging enterprises as well as self-employment through the ‘Tajsid’ initiative, which highlights Saudi products and helps them access global markets.

SDB’s CEO Eng. Sultan Alhamidi said that the bank’s participation in the summit will help it achieve its vision of supporting, empowering, and improving the expertise of the Kingdom’s entrepreneurs through global exposure.

On the sidelines of the summit, the bank delegation visited factories, research centers, and institutions, and discussed cooperation
with the Brazilian side in a number of projects, including some concerned with fertilizers and pesticides, coffee, and textile industry.
