Sierra Leonean, Namibian presidents, Malaysian king congratulate President-election Raisi

Tehran, IRNA – The Presidents of Sierra Leone and Namibia and King of Malaysia sent congratulatory messages to President-elect Ebrahim Raisi for his overwhelming victory in elections.

President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio sent a message to President-election Raisi, congratulating him on his victory in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s presidential elections.

Referring to the merits of Raisi in his previous position as Iran’s Judiciary Chief, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone said in his message that Raisi had an important role in the Iranian society as a high official in his last position, which is unforgettable.

Julius Maada Bio said that Sierra Leone and Iran have a friendly and sincere relation over the years, emphasizing that he was convinced that in the coming years, the good relations between the two countries would be further strengthened.

According to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Namibia, Hage Gottfried Geingob, the President of Namibia, sent a message to President-elect Raisi for his overwhelming victory in elections, on behalf of himself, and the people and the Government of Namibia.

The President of Namibia added in his message that he wanted to use this opportunity to emphasize the commitment of Namibia to strengthen relations and bilateral cooperation with Iran and to strengthen the existing friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

He also wished health and success for the Iranian President-elect and expressed hope that during the presidency of Raisi, the people of Iran would move towards more success and happiness.

Al-Sultan Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah Sultan of the constitutional head of Pahang, Malaysia, too in a congratulatory message to President-elect Raisi, congratulated his victory in elections.

In this message, Sultan of the constitutional head of Pahang hoped that the close and fraternal relations between Malaysia and the Islamic Republic of Iran would be further strengthened during the presidency of Raisi.

He also expressed confidence confidence that Malaysia and Iran would continue their decisive cooperation to strengthen relations at higher levels.

Raisi secured more than 18 million votes to win Iran’s presidential election.
