The Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, has attended the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku. He responded to the official invitation from the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova.
Numerous speakers of parliaments attended the event, parliamentary delegations representing parliaments of countries from around the world, and several heads of regional and international parliamentary organizations.
As part of the celebration’s agenda, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh also participated in a special session of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader, Heydar Aliyev.
