A civilian was killed and others were wounded by US army bullets, during their implementation of an airdrop operation today in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah Governorate, according to the official Syrian News Agency, “SANA”.
Local sources told the Agency, “today, the American occupation planes carried out a massive airdrop, with the support of the militants of the (Qasd) forces associated with it, in the village of Salham, southeast of Al-Shaddadi, in the southern countryside of Hasakah, along the Syrian-Iraqi border.”
The sources added: “The landing was accompanied by heavy and indiscriminate shooting at the homes of the people and the surrounding agricultural lands.”
The sources also indicated that the US forces and the “Qasd forces” surrounded the village, and opened fire on the people who were about to leave the village, fearing for their lives, which led to the death of a civilian and the wounding of others.
