Tajik official says relations with Iran based on respect

Tehran, IRNA – The chairman of Tajikistan’s Strategic Research Center has said that his country’s relations with Iran are based on respect.

In recent years, the two relations between Tehran and Dushanbe have achieved good cultural, economic, and political outcomes, Khairiddin Usmonzoda told IRNA on the sidelines of The Tehran Dialogue Forum held in Tehran on Monday (December 19.)

The Tajik official described the Tehran forum as so remarkable.

As Usmonzoda underlined, most of the countries in Central Asia need to continue cordial ties with Iran.

So, Tajikistan has strengthened its cooperation with its Iranian friends and brothers, he added.

Such cooperation would produce good results, he concluded.

The third Tehran Dialogue Forum under the title of Neighborhood Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran: An Approach to Friendship and Trust kicked off in the Iranian capital on Monday morning with the participation of 70 scholars from 36 countries.
