Tehran, IRNA – Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin in a message on Thursday expressed confidence in the results of meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian on the sidelines of the second foreign ministerial meeting of neighbors of Afghanistan plus Russia in Tehran.
Appreciating the sincere hosting of Amirabdollahian in the second foreign ministerial meeting of neighbors of Afghanistan plus Russia in Tehran, Muhriddin expressed his full confidence in the results of the meeting with Amirabdollahian on the sidelines of the meeting and its effective role in the development of cooperation between the two states.
Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister wished a speedy recovery from the COVID-19 for his Iranian counterpart.
A meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbors began in the Iranian capital on October 27, 2021, with participation of foreign ministers of Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan as well as the ambassadors of China and Russia.
Foreign ministers of Russia and China participated in the meeting virtually.
