Technical Training Administration in Makkah Launches ‘Technical Giving’ Initiative to Serve Pilgrims


Jeddah: The General Administration of Technical and Vocational Training in Makkah Region launched today the “Technical Giving” initiative to serve the pilgrims. This initiative aims to enhance the services provided to the pilgrims during the Hajj season of 1445 AH under the slogan “Ease and Tranquillity.”

The initiative includes six diverse programs aimed at serving the pilgrims and visitors to the holy sites.

These programs are the “Voluntary Haircut Program” to hone the skills of participants in this profession; the “Maintenance Emergency Program” to provide free technical and mechanical support for pilgrims’ vehicles; the “Guidance Program” in collaboration with the General Syndicate of Cars, the “Safe Program” in collaboration with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the “Technical Assistance Program” in collaboration with the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, and the “Preparation and Training of 80 Scouts Program” to support the service of pilgrims in public service camps.

The
Director General of Technical and Vocational Training in the Makkah region, Marae Al-Qarni, indicated that this initiative aims to serve the pilgrims by encouraging volunteer work among its members and enhancing cooperation with entities involved in Hajj.

He noted that it also fosters a spirit of competition among trainees to serve our nation in this significant event and provide the highest-quality services to the pilgrims.
