The bravery of the warriors of Islam in Operation Mersad must be remembered/ Using the expertise of elites is the serious will of the government

Honouring the efforts in the Operation Mersad, Dr Raisi announced the continuation of the plots of hypocrisy and asked the people and elites to be aware of this issue.

On Thursday, in a meeting with the veterans and elites of Hamadan province, while recalling the bravery of Islamic fighters in Operation Mersad, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, “These days are a reminder of the courage and bravery of the people who stood up to Saddam Hussein and the hypocrites and truly blocked the way of infiltration the hypocrites”.
Pointing to the malice of the infiltration current, the President said, “The hypocrites were the same arrogant soldiers who wanted to open the way for the domination system with their own crimes, but the people stopped them”.
Dr Raisi emphasised that the bravery and courage of the warriors of Islam in Operation Mersad should be kept alive in the memories and the malice of the hypocrites should be recorded in history.
Ayatollah Raisi said, “Those who stood against the Ahl al-Bayt were the same hypocrisy current, and it is regrettable how people who claim human rights have become the cradle of murderers and hypocrites, and Europeans must answer the question of how they accommodated hypocrites in the heart of Europe”.
Referring to the government’s efforts to solve the country’s problems, the President said, “Today, the government is responsible for a very serious mission, the key to its success is the cooperation and consultation of the people”.
Dr Raisi pointed out, “A popular administration means being alongside the people; All our statesmen at all levels should always consider themselves being amongst the people and consult with the people, especially the elites”.
Emphasising that I have always emphasised in the administrative councils in the provinces that they have consultative circles with the elites, the President clarified, “The secret of the government’s success in all fields is communication with the elites”.
Ayatollah Raisi stressed the need to develop a transformational approach to the progress of affairs in the face of administrative and organisational issues, and pointed out, “In the first forty years of the revolution, we gained valuable experiences, but there are still delays, including in the field of full implementation of justice and improvement of the administrative system”.
The President considered slow bureaucracy and some obstacles in the administrative structure of the country as one of the people’s problems and said, “Solving administrative problems requires the cooperation of the government and parliament”.
Referring to the fact that the government has started economic reform in the country, Dr Raisi said, “It is a necessity to use revolutionary, young and motivated forces in the executive body of the government”.
Stating that the 13th government is the only government that has evaluated its senior managers and ministers quantitatively and qualitatively after a few months of its operation, the President said, “We are the only government that has a written, detailed and transformative plan”.
In another part of his speech, referring to the importance of organising the tax system in the country, Dr Raisi stated, “Collecting taxes from guilds is a legal obligation, but the government trusts guilds and entrepreneurs and moves on this basis in tax policies”.
Referring to some of the problems of Hamedan province, Ayatollah Raisi said, “Agriculture in Hamedan province should be taken care of”.
The President pointed out, “Agricultural economy and attention to mines in Hamedan province is necessary and important. The agenda of the government is to prevent crude sales in the mining industry. If the mining license has been issued, it must be activated”.
Dr Raisi added, “The government is determined to activate inactive production units. We have created a group under the supervision of the First Vice-President in the provinces to activate production units”.
Regarding the request of some elites to register a day in the calendar named after Hamedan, the President said, “The Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution is ready to register one of the proud days of Hamedan as the city’s day in the calendar”.
Ayatollah Raisi pointed out, “We want to make up for the previous setbacks with a transformational approach. This development depends on everyone’s sense of responsibility”.
In the end, the President said, “Production, hope, economy of resistance, pious people, paying attention to the blood of martyrs in society, military and missile industries, and most importantly, the position of the Supreme Leader are the components of power”.
