The Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri, announced the death of a pilgrim from the province of Babylon, who was in his seventies, while performing the Hajj, due to illness complications.
Al-Jubouri said that he had received from the Hajj and Umrah Authority in Babylon the news of the death of one of the pilgrims from the province, while performing the Hajj ceremonies.
He added: “The local government and, in cooperation with the Hajj and Umrah Authority seek to return the body of the deceased to the land of Iraq as soon as possible.”
