The Egyptian Foreign Minister will visit Turkey tomorrow

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, intends to make an official visit to Turkey tomorrow, Thursday, at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today, Wednesday, that Minister Abel Masri’s visit will witness talks on bilateral relations and regional developments.

Sameh Shoukry visited Turkey on the twenty-seventh of last February and met Cavusoglu, in a message of solidarity, following the devastating earthquake that struck the south of the country.

Egypt also sent humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims in Turkey.

Cavusoglu also paid an official visit to Egypt on March 18, in response to Shoukry’s invitation, making him the first Turkish foreign minister to visit Cairo in 11 years.
