The Iraqi Red Crescent sends (15) tons of medical aid to Beirut


The Iraqi Red Crescent Society announced sending the second batch of medicines and medical supplies to the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The Director of the Health Department of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Dr. Ali Al-Moussawi, stated in a statement that: “The second batch of medicines and medical supplies, estimated at (15) tons, was loaded, according to the lists of needs sent by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.”

He added: “This batch includes more than (40) medical supplies of the required medicines for treating injuries and used in operating rooms.”

He pointed out: “This batch will be sent by land by trucks, after the first batch was sent by air to Beirut Airport.”
