The joint detachments arrested (22) suspects according to various legal articles, including a gang for trafficking and promoting narcotic substances, seizing a drone, unlicensed weapons and equipment, and an amount of narcotic substances.
A statement by the Baghdad Operations Command stated that the joint detachments deployed on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa managed, through setting up sudden checkpoints, to arrest (22) suspects according to various legal articles, including a gang for trading and promoting narcotic substances consisting of four people who were seized with half a kilo of narcotic crystal in addition to three unlicensed pistols and three assault grenades, and other suspects in their possession unlicensed weapons, ammunition and narcotic substances, and some of them were seized with a quantity of crystal, devices for its abuse, and narcotic pills of various kinds.
He added that (10) pistols, (4) rifles, and one hand grenade were also confiscated, an unlicensed drone, a quantity of equipment, empty stores, and a number of vehicles violating the controls were seized.
