The Minister of Interior discusses three files with the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Police

Baghdad, -The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, discussed, today, Sunday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Police, Ahmed Reza Radan, and his accompanying delegation, cooperation in the intelligence field and future plans.

The ministry stated in a statement, “Al-Shammari discussed, during his meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Police, strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two neighboring countries in combating drugs and psychotropic substances, combating terrorism, and controlling international borders in accordance with the memorandum of understanding that is in force between the two countries, in addition to discussing intensifying cooperation in the intelligence field and future plans, indicating that there is coordination between the Iraqi and Iranian ministries in all fields.

For his part, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Police praised Al-Shammari’s great interest in developing bilateral relations.
