Baghdad: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed in his office today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Nasir Mammadov, a number of topics of common interest, most notably security cooperation between the two countries, especially the work of the Ministry of Interior in both countries.
The two sides discussed the process of facilitating the entry of visitors to Iraq during the upcoming religious occasions and ensuring the provision of the best services to them during their presence on Iraqi territory.
They also discussed enhancing joint coordination in the field of combating drugs and organized crime, as well as strengthening bilateral relations and ways to develop them in a way that serves common interests and working to intensify efforts in exchanging information and expertise, especially since the two countries have close relations.
