Today, Saturday, the Popular Mobilization Forces announced the killing of a suicide bomber who tried to blow himself up and wound another among shepherds, west of Anbar.
A statement by the PMF’s media quoted the commander of the Anbar Operations of the Popular Mobilization, Qassem Musleh, as saying: Our forces stationed in the Al-Lamsi area within the western region operations sector of Anbar Governorate managed to rescue a number of sheep shepherds after they were subjected to an ISIS terrorist attack.
He added: Our heroes were able, after the people informed the Popular Mobilization Forces, to kill a terrorist wearing an explosive belt who tried to blow himself up, among the shepherds, and wounding another terrorist.
Musleh explained: A force from the 17th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces is currently stationed in the area of the operation, in anticipation of any other attack targeting the shepherds.
He pointed out: There is great cooperation and coordination with the people in Anbar, where the operation ended without casualties among civilians or the Popular Mobilization Forces.
