HEBRON – Ma’an – The Hebron Governor’s Office said that the occupation authorities prevented diplomats accredited to the State of Palestine from entering the Ibrahimi Mosque area in the city of Hebron.
About 30 ambassadors, heads of missions and international organizations were supposed to tour the Ibrahimi Mosque and its surroundings, as part of a tour organized by the Hebron Governorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, to inform them of the reality of the governorate and its old town, which is subjected to continuous violations by the occupation and its settler gangs.
The governor’s office added that despite the diplomatic delegation being prevented from reaching the Ibrahimi Mosque, they were taken to the roof of the Ibrahim al-Khalil Tekke, which is adjacent to the mosque, where they were briefed on what was happening.

re prevented from reaching the sanctuary after the occupation authorities closed the iron gate in front of them.
The governor then held a meeting with the delegation at the governorate headquarters, and was briefed on the suffering experienced by citizens in closed areas and within checkpoints, which has doubled after October 7. He stressed that all measures taken at all levels by the occupation and its settlers aim to create a Judaization reality on the ground and to deport citizens through a series of continuous attacks around the clock.
The governor added in his briefing that this tour today, which came in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, represented by Dr. Ahmed Al-Deek, the Minister’s political advisor, aims to inform the entire world about the nature of the difficult circumstances experienced by the Palestinian citizen through external closures, internal checkpoints, arrests, and settler violations in all parts of the governorate. He called on the international commun
ity to pressure the occupation government to stop all its racist practices against the Palestinian people, and addressed them by saying: “After what you have seen and heard today, you are ambassadors for the suffering of the Palestinian people, and we hope that you will convey it to the entire world.”
For his part, Dr. Al-Deek spoke about the importance of this visit to the Hebron Governorate and closely examining what is happening on the ground, which began with the occupation authorities preventing ambassadors and consuls from entering the Old City, explaining that this measure comes as a continuation of what the occupation government is practicing in terms of neglecting international public opinion and not caring about the United Nations resolutions that are related to stopping the aggression and violations in the Palestinian homeland.
