Turkey announced the control of forest fires that broke out in the mountainous areas in the south of the country.
Turkish media quoted Today, Monday, a source in the fire department of the Hatay state in the south of the country as saying that the firefighting teams were able to put out the fires that spread in the forests after using specialized aircraft in extinguishing fires alongside the ground firefighting team.
The source stated that the reason for the outbreak of fires was the spread of the remains of embers from one of the houses in the area, which caused a fire in one of the forests, which soon spread to the neighboring forests successively, and that a person was arrested for interrogation on charges of causing these fires.
