Turkiye, Ukraine discuss efforts to revive Black Sea Grain Deal

Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, discussed via phone Friday, with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy the Turkish efforts to extend the Black Sea Grain Deal for exporting Ukraine grains.

During the call, President Erdogan assured President Zelenskyy that Turkiye exerts tremendous efforts to help peace prevail, according to a statement by the Turkish presidency.

On Monday, Russia announced withdrawing from the UN and Turkiye-mediated deal, saying its conditions and demands were not implemented.
