Unique Products Shine at Saudi Exhibition for International Year of Camelids


Rome, The Saudi exhibition at the International Year of Camelids (IYC) 2024 in Rome captivated visitors from various countries with its showcase of products that embody Saudi camel-related heritage.

Held alongside the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) council session June 10 to 14, the exhibition creates a diverse and fascinating atmosphere. It highlights products related to camels, emphasizing these wonderful creatures as part of authentic Saudi culture and heritage.

The exhibition showcased the most remarkable transformative camel products and their contributions to achieving food security. The camel products industry in the Kingdom has experienced a remarkable leap in terms of quality, quantity, marketing, and consumer demand.

The exhibition features informative pavilions that demonstrate the significant status of camels as a symbol within local communities. Diverse displays of camels in folk heritage garnered the admiration and interest of the exhibition’s visitors from around the
world.

At the event, food industries featuring camel products from several companies received widespread acclaim for their adherence to the highest international quality standards.

In addition, the exhibition showcased medical and cosmetic products derived from camels, attracting many visitors eager to purchase them due to their natural and unique qualities.

This exhibition is part of Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the IYC, in collaboration with the Group of Latin American and the Caribbean (GRULAC), represented by Bolivia.

This leadership highlights Saudi Arabia’s significant efforts in caring for the camel sector, promoting its development, and increasing its production. It also underscores the immense importance of camels in Saudi cultural and heritage preservation.

The exhibition aims to raise awareness about all these camel-related topics and the cultural, economic, and social significance of these creatures within the Kingdom.
