The University of Najran, represented by the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, has taken accelerated steps to achieve digital transformation goals and develop digital skills, enhancing the use of technology in the educational process, according to a quarterly report for the second semester of 2024.
The report highlighted the four certificates obtained by the university from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), covering vital areas for developing technical infrastructure and ensuring reliable electronic services to provide integrated, high-quality digital services to its students and employees.
The deanship also established a cloud computing unit and implemented several events and training courses aimed at raising the level of digital and technical awareness.
The report discussed the deanship’s efforts in the field of e-learning and distance education.
In the field of digital transformation, the report indicated that the deanship created five websites, develo
ped eleven websites, and implemented ten training courses within the ‘Digital Program 2’ from which more than 2,000 male and female trainees benefited.
The report also reviewed the efforts provided by the Knowledge Resources Agency, an affiliate of the university’s deanship, indicating that the agency held four introductory meetings for the university’s faculties and 99 training courses in cooperation with the digital library.
