Baghdad – The United Nations Relief and Works Commission for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that 57 of its members were killed in Gaza.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said in a press conference: “57 of our colleagues were killed in the ongoing war in Gaza, and delaying the end of this war will increase the risk of the conflict expanding.”
He added: “We will not be able to complete our work without fuel, and we need a continuous and uninterrupted flow of aid,” stressing: “The few trucks arriving in Gaza will not make a difference to the residents.”/ End
