Tehran, IRNA – Secretary-general of World Forum for Islamic Awareness issued a communique on Saturday, and condemned the Friday terrorist attack in Sayed Abad Mosque of Kunduz city in Afghanistan which led to over 200 deaths and injuries.
Following the (Friday) October 8 terrorists attack against the worshippers in Sayed Abad Mosque of Kunduz city in northeastern Afghanistan which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries of the defenseless innocent victims, Velayati condemned the terrorist act and condoled with the great Afghan nation and the world Muslims.
“Beyond doubt, the criminal Americans who were forced to exit Afghanistan with humiliation, are now supporting the terrorist groups and such satanic plots, in order to convey the idea to the oppressed people of that country that as America and its allies propagate, their illegal presence in other countries leads to boosting security, while they have actually further fortified the terrorists,” wrote Velayati in his message on the sad occasion.
Velayati reiterated that the wise and alert Afghan nation will respond to such satanic crimes of the aliens’ mercenaries, just as the other combatant Muslim nations within the resistance movement in Syria, Iraq and Yemen have managed to do so.
“The main mission of that group that claims to be Muslim, but is in fact the mercenary of the aliens, is to implement the plots hatched by its masters and defame the glorious Islamic faith,” wrote the former Iranian diplomat.
Blind and brutal murdering of the innocent people is not approved by the followers of any Divine faith and is always condemned, emphasized Velayati.
“The crime of the Afghan nation and the other Muslim and freedom-seeking nations in the viewpoint of these butchers is their steadfast belief in the humane fundamentals of Islam, and beyond doubt by elimination of this mercenary and murderer group, God willing the Islamic nations will proceed towards exaltation and the establishment of a mature society, that will be a model for the followers of other faiths,” predicted Velayati.
