Mogadishu, The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) office in Somalia has cooperated with a Somali youth development foundation to inaugurate a new philanthropic center in the country.
WAMY Somalia Office Director Dr. Abdulrahman Sheikh Abdul Samad said that the center is dedicated to providing essential services to the local community, including access to education and clean drinking water, thus tackling the region’s water scarcity, drought, and educational deficit.
Local community members interviewed at the inauguration of the new center expressed joy and appreciation for the Saudi Arabian government and people for their commitment to humanitarian initiatives for Somalis.
