Jigawa, Nigeria, The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has inaugurated an educational development center in Jigawa state, Nigeria, which includes a mosque, a well, six classrooms and administrative offices.
Governor of Jigawa Umar Namadi and the state’s Minister of Education Dr. Issa Yusuf attended the inauguration ceremony.
State residents interviewed lauded Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts in Nigeria, and praised WAMY’s projects entailing drilling wells, establishing development centers and providing medical care to people in need.
The new undertaking is part of WAMY’s endeavor to establish development centers in various African countries to serve the communities there and enable them to prosper.
