The initiative showcases the warm hospitality of Saudi workers in welcoming pilgrims at airports in other countries. It has evolved to represent not just service procedures but also the precision and high spirit involved in facilitating pilgrims’ arrival for Hajj. This combines creative efforts with generous reception and kind words, recognizing the significance of such an Islamic pillar and aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by pilgrims traveling to Makkah.
With a clear diversity in its services and pathways, the initiative provides everything necessary for the comfort of the pilgrims from the moment they depart their homeland to their arrival in the Ki
ngdom, ensuring a positive first impression of Saudi Arabia. The family of pilgrim Zuhair Rouddin told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the facilities provided by the Makkah Route Initiative encouraged them to perform Hajj this year. They praised the smooth and easy process, the well-prepared waiting areas, and the hospitable service.
The initiative has streamlined procedures and organized operations precisely, the family members said. They were impressed by the exceptional follow-up, as shared by relatives who performed Hajj last year, particularly in transporting pilgrims’ luggage to their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah and providing all related information about the transported luggage.
