Weather Forecast for Wednesday

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The NCM report said that the opportunity is still ripe for moderate to heavy thunderstorms that lead to torrential rains, accompanied by active winds and hail showers, in parts of the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. Thunderstorms, preceded by active winds that stir dust and dust, continue to be expected, limiting the horizontal visibility in parts of the Northern Border regions, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, and Medina, as well as in parts of Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions.

The report indicated that the movement of surface winds over the Red Sea is northeasterly to northwesterly, at a speed of 15-35 km/h, reaching 40 km/h, with thunderstorms raining on the northern and central part, and being southeasterly to southwesterly, at a speed of 10-30 km/h reaching Wind speed to more than 45 km/h towards Bab al-Mandab Strait, wave height from half a meter to one and a half up to two meters towards Bab al-Mandab Strait, and sea conditions are light to medium waves and wavy towards Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The report added that the movement of surface winds over the Arabian Gulf is westerly to northwesterly, at a speed of 10-30 km/h, reaching 45 km/h, with thunderstorms forming over the northern part, and wave heights ranging from half a meter to a meter up to two meters, with thunderstorms developing over the north. The state of the sea is light and wavy, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the northern part.
