WHO Reaccredits Taif as a Healthy City

Taif has become the first Saudi city to be awarded accreditation for healthy cities twice, after meeting 80 standards set by the World Health Organization.

This accomplishment is a testament to the city’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles in the community, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives of creating a thriving environment and prioritizing individual health and well-being.

Governor of Taif Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz was presented the accreditation certificate by Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel.

Al-Jalajel said that the reaccreditation of Taif as a healthy city by the WHO reflects the support and commitment of the governor, along with the combined efforts of all sectors alongside the community.

He also visited several health facilities in Taif to ensure the quality of services provided to citizens.
