The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, discussed with the Director of the Security Cooperation Office arming and equipping the Iraqi army with modern equipment.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that Yarallah met, today, Wednesday, the Director of the Security Cooperation Office and his accompanying delegation, and the Commander of the Air Force, the Secretary of the Army Aviation, the Army Chief of Staff and a number of officers of the Command Staff attended from the Iraqi side.
The meeting discussed, according to the statement, a number of topics related to the training aspect, as well as arming and equipping the Iraqi army with modern equipment, in order to strengthen and develop the military system and raise the capabilities of the armed forces.
