Yemen Reaffirms Staunch Support for Palestine Amid U.S. Threats

Sanaa: Secretary of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Yasser al-Houri has reiterated his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their pursuit of rightful claims. In an exclusive interview, al-Houri emphasized Yemen’s commitment to standing by the Palestinian nation and resistance, highlighting the unified stance of Yemeni leaders, armed forces, and citizens.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, al-Houri addressed the ongoing conflict in Gaza, condemning the actions of Israel and expressing Yemen’s refusal to remain passive like other Arab nations issuing ineffective statements. He asserted that Yemen views the defense of Palestine as synonymous with defending the Yemeni people and the broader Islamic community.

Al-Houri pointed out that Yemen continues to engage in conflict with Israel in support of Palestine, despite facing persistent attacks from U.S. forces in the region. He noted that Yemen’s military operations target both Israeli interests and American aggression, demonstrating resilience despite U.S. attempts to undermine their capabilities.

The Yemeni official commended the nation’s endurance, citing recent operations against Israel and confrontations with U.S. forces in the Red Sea as proof of Yemen’s preparedness and military strength. He further cautioned regional countries about the looming threats posed by Israeli and U.S. strategies, warning of their potential impact under current U.S. and Israeli leadership.

Al-Houri also addressed Israeli aggression toward Lebanon, pledging Yemen’s readiness to support Lebanon against Zionist regime attacks. He conveyed the commitment of the Ansarullah movement’s leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to aid Lebanon with all available resources.

Reaffirming Yemen’s position on Palestine, al-Houri highlighted the steadfast backing of the Yemeni people for their leaders’ stance, undeterred by U.S. threats. He concluded by underscoring Yemen’s divine confidence in their involvement in the conflict for Palestinian support.
