Tehran, IRNA – Chairman of the Palestinian media outlet Palestine Today says that Zionist forces have no mercy for journalists who want to tell the truth about the situation in the occupied territories.
Seifuddin Moaved said the Zionists are trying to present an unreal narrative of the Palestinian issue to the people of the world, adding that when journalists and media want to tell the truth, they face arrest or direct shooting.
In an interview with IRNA, Moaved said the Israelis are afraid of media’s role in raising popular awareness about the occupation.
He said that the occupying regime of Israel is trying to publish news and stories that differ from the realities in Palestine.
The journalist said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has played a very important role in supporting media organizations that favor the resistance movement, adding that if it was not for Iran’s support, the Resistance media would have faced major difficulties in performing their tasks in recent years.
