10 Iranian inmates extradited from Thailand
Tehran, Ten Iranian nationals imprisoned in Thailand were repatriated to Iran to spend the rest of their terms in their homeland, said Deputy Justice Minister for Human Rights and International Affairs Mahmoud Abbasi.
Most of the prisoners were charged with narcotics smuggling, Abbasi said.
Two other Iranian citizens imprisoned in Thailand were extradited to Iran on May 16.
On May 10, Iran Ambassador to Kuwait Alireza Enayati said that 28 Iranian citizens imprisoned in Kuwait were extradited to Iran to spend the rest of their jail terms in Iran.
On May 13, a group of 15 Iranian prisoners were also extradited to the Iran from Azerbaijan Republic via Astara Customs House in northern Iran.
